Bashundhara Ad-Din Nursing Institute affiliated with Ad-din Hospital in Dhaka started in 2006. Besides, the educational activities of Ad-in Nursing Institute was established on 8 August 1997 in Jessore, adjacent to the Ad-din Hospital, to encourage, accept and implement the service profession. Later, two more separate nursing institutes were started in Kushtia and Dhaka. The official inauguration of the four-strayed building named Safina Nursing Institute on the campus of Kushtia Ad-din Hospital took place on 31 December 2004 and the educational activities of the institute started in September 2005.
Ad-din Nursing Institute, Jessore, Bangladesh Nursing Council has approved the provision of Junior Midwifery course training for a period of 18 months in 1999. A total of 265 students have been enrolled in this course from the beginning to date in 10 academic years and most of them are working in Ad-din Hospital after successfully completing the training.
